Falcon Sportsmen are dedicated to the concept that the family is fundamental to the success of all of our endeavors. To that end, all of our events are meant to be enjoyed as family events. This page will feature, those events planned in the future, those events in the past, and will serve as your forum for suggestions to institute change or additions.

We are just the care-takers until your children take over
This has been an annual event for nearly 70 years, and is open to all children age 14 and under, with prizes, games and fun for all.
This event is held on the second Sunday in June.
This is a banquet honoring members weighing in their largest FISH caught, and heaviest GAME animal taken during the previous fishing or hunting season.
It is a fun get together when cabin fever is at it's worst.
PHEASANT CHICK PROGRAM
Pheasant Program - Spring to Fall
Day old chicks are received from the DEC hatchery in the spring and carefully raised till fall when they are released into the wild at the Cayuga-Tompkins CO-OP public lands.
This year over 150 birds will be raised and released prior to the youth pheasant hunt!

TURKEY SHOOT
The 2021 Turkey shoot has been
CANCELLED!
Due to the Covid-19 issues and State regulations, we have decided to cancel the event for this year.
This event dates back to the 1950's and includes a slug/rifle shoot, pond shoot, and trap shooting. Winners of these events will receive frozen turkeys.
There will be events for Muzzle-loader, Pistol, Rifle, & Shotgun to win your Turkeys. Not only are there Turkeys to win, there is plenty of food, beverages and raffles.
The POND SHOOT is one of our turkey shoot favorites! You need to be a good enough shot to hit the target on the other side of the pond, but lucky enough to get the most hits inside the circle printed on the BACK of the target! Veteran shooters, as well as as novice sportsmen have equal chances to win on this fun event!
The SLUG SHOOT will test your skill on long range targets, for rifles, shotguns, muzzle-loaders, and even pistols! Do you have a steady aim? Can you hit the target downrange? Come out and test your skills to see if you can measure up to the challenge!! Rules for the slug shoot are listed in the link below.
The TRAP SHOOT features many different trap style shooting events. Pit your skills against several other shooters, and see who will come out as the ace of the round. !
